About
Rachel Macor
With a background in existential phenomenology, my specific focus is on being with my client. My goal is to understand the individual lived experience of each person I see. I want to know what it is like for you to be in the world you find yourself in – I want to understand what your experience means to you. For it is only in the understanding of your lived experience that we can truly work together.
I practice using a person-centered, strengths-based approach, letting the client teach me what is needed to understand what their experiences mean to them. I view therapy as a partnership and I want you to feel heard and understood. No two journeys are alike, and because of this I customize therapy to each individual I see.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State.
